The Effect of Sociodemographic and Obstetric Characteristics of Pregnant and Breastfeeding Women on Nutritional Problems: A Retrospective Study Protocol

The aim of this protocol study is to present a study design to compare nutritional problems in pregnant and breastfeeding women according to sociodemographic and obstetric characteristics. The study is planned in retrospective design with the data of the ‘Turkey Nutrition and Health Survey’ study published by the Ministry of Health in 2017 and will be conducted according to the STROBE checklist rules. The sample of the study will consist of pregnant and breastfeeding women who participated in the aforementioned study. Nutritional problems of women will be compared according to sociodemographic and obstetric characteristics by using appropriate statistical analyses.
